The deadline for accepting projects for the Third Republican Innovation Competition has been extended

In order to ensure the interest and active participation of researchers, universities, and young people with innovative ideas in the Third Republic Innovation Competition organized by the Ministry of Economy and the UN Mission in Azerbaijan, the period of acceptance of projects for the competition has been extended until October 7.

The competition is aimed at promoting the Sustainable Development Goals from the UN's "Transforming our World: Agenda for Sustainable Development until 2030", encouraging innovation, as well as the implementation of the "Azerbaijan 2020: Vision of the Future" Development Concept and Strategic Roadmaps for the main sectors of the national economy and economy. is held every year for the purpose of support. The partners of the competition are the Ministry of Transport, Communication and High Technologies, the Ministry of Culture, the State Agency for Service to Citizens and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, "Ernst & Young Holdings (SiAyEs) Bi.Vi." is the branch of the company in Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan Representative Office of the United Nations Development Program.

Projects and innovative ideas covering various fields are included in the competition "Idea Bank" (www.ideya.az) platform of the State Agency for Service to Citizens and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (http://ric.az/apply/), as well as narmin.babayeva It can be submitted via e-mail @economy.gov.az. The winners of the competition will be awarded 5000 manats for the 1st place, 3000 manats for the 2nd place and 2000 manats for the 3rd place. One of the winners of the competition will be invited to the "Fast Track Azerbaijan" program by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, and another project will receive the "Cloud4Start" award of the Data Center (3000 manats) - a package of data and cloud services.

In addition, 2 winners will have the right to represent Azerbaijan at the "STARTUP Day" program to be held in Estonia on January 29-31, 2020, with all expenses covered.
